    Jeff Faircild, Adelstein, Sharpe & Serka LLP  Jeff Fairchild joined the law offices of Adelstein, Sharpe & Serka LLP in 1993 following three years at Davis Wright Tremaine in Seattle. Jeff spends his days consulting with business clients on the entire smorgasbord of employment issues including compliance/policy topics, thorny personnel situations, investigations, trade secrets, and, alas, terminations. Jeff has successfully represented employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and unfair competition disputes. Jeff studied primate behavior at Duke University before attending Washington University Law School. Jeff knows several entertaining card tricks and spent the pandemic re-watching Fawlty Towers and cycling alone in his basement.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase online during registration and additionally at the time of check in for in-person attendees. Tickets will be $1 per ticket or 12 tickets for $10. All proceeds go to the SHRM Foundation.

    David Roberts, MS 

    Co-Owner and Founder

Description automatically generated with medium confidenceAfter a career in natural resource management, in 2011 David founded an environmental consultancy serving the Pacific Northwest. He chose to focus on facilitating community conversations and decision-making processes that productively engage communities and businesses on issues they care about.  

    As a leader, boss, and facilitator, he loves helping people discover new possibilities. He’s spent a decade building a business with capability to work on the most contentious issues of our time. He has an aptitude for inspiring collaboration, finding innovative solutions, and guiding strategy among multi-interest groups. In his free time, you can find David biking, hiking, camping, or with friends and family. He’s an accomplished musician, photographer, and sought-after speaker on climate change.  

    Allison Roberts 

    Co-Owner, Marketing, and Communications

She joined the firm after a decade in public education, a decade working in the government sector, and a decade working and volunteering for nonprofit community initiatives. At Peak, Allison provides administrative support, communication, web, writing, and marketing. 

    Allison loves connecting people to ideas, information, and each other through creative and inclusive processes. She has an aptitude for distilling complex information into compelling messages for a wide range of audiences. In her free time, you can find Allison in her garden, volunteering, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and cruising around on her electric bike. 

    Kat Klass, MS 

    Sustainability Lead

Description automatically generated with medium confidenceKat leads Peak’s Sustainability Team where she works with businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations to measure and build the sustainability and resilience of their operations. She also assists with projects addressing land management goals and opportunities at the nexus of agricultural viability, salmon population recovery, and flood protection efforts.  

    A graduate of Stanford University, Kat focuses on sustainable food systems. Before joining Peak, Kat worked in both formal and informal education settings, further developing her skills as an adaptable, communicative team player. She is passionate about connecting with stakeholders, promoting multi-benefit climate solutions, and helping clients uncover new insights through data analysis. When not at work, Kat enjoys running, swimming, hiking, and cooking. 

    Wendy St. Claire, PHR 

    HR Manager 

    Peak Employee photoWendy serves as Peak’s Human Resources Manager. She is the owner at St. Claire HR based in Bellingham.  

    Wendy has decades of experience coaching business owners in building and refining human resource systems and compliance, especially for companies experiencing rapid growth. In her free time, Wendy enjoys traveling with her family, supporting the local youth and high school lacrosse clubs, and enjoying the outdoors.
