COVID-19 Safety Measures for In-Person Attendees

During your attendance at the Mt Baker SHRM ½ Day Workshop, you will be required to support our COVID-19 Safety Measures, and strictly follow our COVID-19 policies and procedures. These COVID-19 policies and procedures may include but are not limited to personal sanitization, mandatory face covering, and social distancing.

Face Coverings: We will continue to follow CDC and WA State guidelines. Effective August 23, 2021, Governor Jay Inslee mandated that everyone, including those who are fully vaccinated, wear a face mask while in public indoor settings. The directive aligns with the latest CDC guidance.

SHRM Board Members will remind attendees who are not wearing a mask to wear a mask per the state’s guidance. Anyone who ignores the policy will be asked to leave the workshop. Masks can be removed while eating/drinking only.

Hand Sanitizer Stations: We will have sanitizing stations easily accessible to everyone throughout the event.

No Contact Policy: To assist in minimizing potential physical contact, elbow bumps are a great alternative to handshakes or hugs. Please limit your physical interactions with others.

Screenings: Mt Baker SHRM will require all attendees to confirm that they are not displaying symptoms of COVID-19 and have not recently been exposed to anyone who tested positive. If they do have symptoms or have been exposed, they will not be able to attend the workshop in person and their registration will be transferred to the virtual experience.
