    Workplace Violence Prevention

Join Robert Ellsworth and Gary DeBeeld for a dynamic presentation on workplace violence prevention.  In this presentation, Robert and Gary will provide safe and realist training by teaching pressure-tested, reasonable, necessary, and legally justifiable principles and tactics.

In 2018, Robert Ellsworth and Gary DeBeeld started Trifecta Training & Consulting, LLC to address the Trifecta of Survival, Self-Defense, Firearms and First Aid.  Their unique blend of these three disciplines has proven very effective to not only Law Enforcement but for business professionals, businesses, and civilians dedicated to saving their loved ones and themselves.

    About the Speakers:

Robert Ellsworth has over 30 years experience in martial arts and self defense which began in his early teens.  He started teaching professionally in his early 20’s and was constantly searching to improve his skill and knowledge. He firmly believes he is sometimes a coach, always a student.  In 2001 he was hired by the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Deputy and in 2004 he was selected to become a Defensive Tactics Instructor through the State Police Academy in Burien, WA.  In 2007 he received his certification as a Master Defensive Tactics Instructor after completing all the required classes.  Robert is also a NRA Handgun/Shotgun Instructor, Taser Instructor and Field Training Deputy for the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.

Gary DeBeeld became a volunteer firefighter EMT with Whatcom County Fire District 1 in 2006, following a long family history of volunteer fire fighting. From his years serving his community a desire to teach first aid to his coworkers and community was born. In 2007 he became the lead medical instructor for the Sheriffs office corrections division.  In 2012 he was given the opportunity to teach tactical medical training with the US Border Patrol. He loves to see people learn new techniques that can save lives.  As a certified instructor for the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association, he teaches basic and advanced first aid, CPR, and AED. In 2018 he received certification as a TacMed Instructor from The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. His passion for learning and saving lives has inspired him to combine all that he's learned since 2006 to create his own curriculum in order to best teach others the skills they may need someday.
