    Harmony Thiessen has spoken to over 200,000 people in over 20 countries for over 20 years! At 19 years Harmony’s journey to developing countries started in central America and forecasted years of work in developing countries oftentimes in dangerous circumstances. Born to inspire, Harmony shares how to develop inherent leadership skills and traits that are found in every human being. Known for her innovative strategies and creative collaborations, she enjoys working with companies who are committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and the journey toward Corporate Social Innovation.  

    MY MISSION: To serve the global community through strategic awareness, innovative solutions and active collaboration.   

    In June 2010 Harmony began her work with Fiore Group Training based in North Vancouver BC, Canada.  She has trained thousands of individuals, from a wide range of industries, in Workplace Violence Prevention and Respectful (Civility) Workplace Behaviors.  With her extensive background in leadership, she presents compliance courses with a slant on the individual’s right and responsibility to personally apply the information and benefit from a breadth of lifestyle benefits.  

    Harmony has personal experiences of Workplace Violence and Respectful Behaviors in the workplace. For twenty years her work took her to scores of developing countries, often in turmoil, famine or wartime, and faced multiple issues where safety was a major concern. She has worked with the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Relief Management teams and CASA – Court Appointed Advocates for Children.  She is a member of the Bellingham Chamber or Commerce, Whatcom Business Alliance, SHRM, and other others business and professional organizations and endeavors. She received her BA from Vision Christian University and Masters Studies in Education/Leadership at Briarcrest Seminary. 

    Having lived in Canada for decades, she recently returned to the United States and currently resides and is creating “home” in Northwest Washington.

    Registration and lunch begin at 11:45, and include time for networking with other members and chapter announcements. The presentation/program begins around 12:00pm and lasts until approximately 1:30pm (includes a question/answer period).

    Cancellation policy: Registrants will be billed the full price of the event if a cancellation is not received by 5:00 pm on the Monday prior to the luncheon.
