    This interactive session will engage participants in a meaningful conversation around what it means to create and cultivate an inclusive workplace where everyone can learn, grow and thrive. Participants will walk away with tools, strategies and the mindset to make the places they work more inclusive and empowering for all.

    Marli Williams is a speaker, coach, educator and facilitator who works with organizations to enhance, create and cultivate inclusive and inspiring communities where everyone feels valued, important, and empowered to make a positive impact on those around them. She holds a Master's Degree in Education from Western Washington University and has been working with individuals and teams for over 10 years helping them create spaces and spaces where everyone can thrive.

    SHRM Foundation Raffle & Drawing

    Each year, the Mt. Baker Chapter of SHRM hosts a raffle to raise money for the SHRM Foundation. The SHRM Foundation funds HR research grants and produces publications and educational resources to advance the HR profession.  All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the SHRM Foundation.

    Tickets are available at the October 12th Luncheon for $1 per ticket or 12 tickets for $10. The Raffle drawing will take place during the October 12th Luncheon.

    In addition to the October Foundation Raffle the Mt. Baker Chapter of SHRM will be holding a special contest for the months of October & November. Anyone that donates $25.00 or more to the Foundation in the months of October & November will be put in a drawing for a $100.00 gift certificate to the Chrysalis that will be awarded at the December member appreciation luncheon. You can make your tax deductible donation when you register for our monthly meetings.

    Registration and lunch begin at 11:45, and include time for networking with other members and chapter announcements. The presentation/program begins around 12:00pm and lasts until approximately 1:30pm (includes a question/answer period).

    Cancellation policy: Registrants will be billed the full price of the event if a cancellation is not received by 5:00 pm on the Monday prior to the luncheon.
