This presentation is an overview of several exciting new initiatives federally and locally regarding inclusive hiring practices specific to disabilities. Learn about success stories in hiring candidates with disabilities who meet a business need through partnering with local employment agencies who assist with prescreening candidates, assisting with the recruiting and hiring process as well as provide on-the-job supports.
About the Presenter: Gina Solberg is the Director of Employment Services at PROVAIL in Seattle, Washington. PROVAIL is a multi-service agency providing disabilities services in the Puget Sound area. PROVAIL Employment Services specializes in meeting business needs through customized employment in addition to a focus on assisting students in obtaining employment upon exiting school. Before working in Employment Services, Gina was a Program Director providing community living supports for individuals with autism. Gina has presented at national conferences such as APSE (Association for Persons in Supported Employment) and AFP (Alliance for Full Participation).

Registration and lunch begin at 11:45, and include time for networking with other members and chapter announcements. The presentation/program begins around 12:00pm and lasts until approximately 1:30pm (includes a question/answer period).
Cancellation policy: Registrants will be billed the full price of the event if a cancellation is not received by 5:00 pm on the Monday prior to the luncheon.
