    The theme for this year’s event is Leading the Change… Innovation Is in our Nature. The Symposium team has worked hard to find innovative speakers for the five different tracks: Benefits and Compensation, Business Management Strategy, Employment Law and Legislation, Personal and Leadership Development, and Talent Management.

    There are five breakout sessions with five speakers in each category, giving you a choice of 25 classes. You may choose to follow one track, such as Employment Law and Legislation, or you may choose speakers from various tracks. The choice is yours!

    LWHRA expects to receive a total of 6 HRCI credits for Symposium: one for the luncheon keynote speaker and one each for attending the five breakout sessions. Due to extreme weather conditions on the east coast there has been a delay in receiving our final confirmation from HRCI. LWHRA will announce the credit information when they receive it.

    Rooms are now available for Symposium 2014 at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Bellevue. The rooms will be available until Saturday, February 1 at the special LWHRA rate of $189/night. The room rate is valid for both Monday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 11. LWHRA thanks the Courtyard Marriott for graciously providing special rooms for Symposium attendees.
