    These are challenging times for businesses – both large and small.  A tough economy, increasing demands from customers and more regulations are forcing businesses to re-evaluate how they operate.  The massive tax effects of the Healthcare Reform are changing the employment landscape.  How do businesses continue to grow and thrive?  What is the role of HR in helping to navigate this new environment?  

    In this session, we’ll talk about:

    • The current state of business and economy
    • The changing role of HR in business growth
    • The role of HR in how businesses react to the Healthcare Reform

    About the Presenter:  Stephanie Artino, CPA, Owner at Artino Advisory Group PS

    Stephanie Artino is a CPA working with business and individual clients to help them reach their goals.   Stephanie provides tax and accounting services with an emphasis on adding value through advisory work.  She also offers coaching and other management advisory services geared to help owners, managers and employees achieve greater results in their business.   In 2011, Stephanie received a Master Advisor Certification from RAN ONE Americas, after completing a rigorous 2-year program of study with honors.  

    Stephanie owns Artino Advisory Group, a local CPA Firm in Bellingham.  Stephanie graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and minor in Business Administration.  She has almost 20 years of experience from both the public and private sectors.  

    Stephanie has also volunteered many years of service on the Board of Directors for various not-for-profit organizations in our community.

    Please register for the February 13th program/luncheon meeting by Monday February 11th. The registration page will be closed after 5pm on February 11th, in order to gather an accurate headcount for the luncheon.

    We accept payment in the form of cash, check, debit card or credit card at the time of check in.

    This program is pre-approved for 1 HRCI recertification credit.

    Registration and lunch begin at 11:45, and include time for networking with other members and chapter announcements. The presentation/program begins around 12:00pm and lasts until approximately 1:30pm (includes a question/answer period).

    Cancellation policy: Registrants will be billed the full price of the event if a cancellation is not received by 5:00 pm on the Monday prior to the luncheon (this is in regards to no-shows and/or late cancellations).

    To Cancel an Existing Reservation send the names of the attendees and the date of the event you cannot attend to treasurer@mtbakershrm.com.
