As your organization grows larger, you need to rely on your frontline managers to serve as your "HR frontline". Well trained managers can be an extension of your HR department when it comes to solving employee relations issues, dealing with disciplinary situations and serving as mentors to junior supervisors. This has huge benefits to the organization so HR can focus on larger, more strategic talent management initiatives.  Equipping managers with an HR skillset can have great ROI for the HR department.  In this session, we'll talk about how to achieve this goal and extend the HR reach within the organization.

    Specifically we'll talk about:

    • How to train managers in important skills development for success
    • Identifying opportunities in your organization to extend "HR activity" to managers
    • Getting executive support and buy in for extending "HR responsibilities" to managers
    • Teaching managers how and when to engage HR in employee situations
